There are 2 dogs in Munster Indiana that need someone special.

These two dogs in Munster need someone very special because they cannot be separated.  They are bonded to each other and that simply means that they need to stay together. This requires a very special family or person who is willing and able to open their hearts and home to not one, but TWO adopted dogs.

Penny and Polly

Who are these Munster dogs?

Polly Pocket is a 12 year old small female and is so cute it almost hurts!  Penny Pocket is a brown and white 6 year old and has the most soulful brown eyes I’ve seen.  She is very attached to Polly Pocket.  They were found as strays tied up to a pole.  Obviously, I think they deserve so much more than that – don’t you?

A little about these dogs:

They know basic commands and they walk nicely on a leash.  Once they feel safe, they warm up to new people.

Where are they now?

The dogs are currently staying at Humane Indiana in Munster while they wait for that special family to understand that they can’t be pulled apart.

November is Adopt A Senior Dog Month

The whole month of November is dedicated to giving new life to an older dog in the hopes that they won’t have to live out the rest of their lives in a shelter. Read more about this important time: November Is Adopt A Senior Pet Month! Be a hero to these shelter dogs today!
