Yay! March is here! I don’t know about you, but I’m certainly ready for some SPRING!! Lots of stuff happening in March, as you’ll soon see. For starters, did you know that March is
- Poison Prevention Awareness Month.
- Adopt a Rescued Guinea Pig Month. (love their little squeaks!)
- March 3, 2019: If Pets Had Thumbs Day. (ummm, this could be disastrous…)

- March 13, 2019:K-9 Veterans Day. (I was unaware that there was such a day honoring our canine veterans…)
- March 17, 2019: Saint Gertrude of Nivelles Day— patron saint of cats.
- March 17-23, 2019: National Poison Prevention Week.
- March 23, 2019: National Puppy Day. (ooo – another fun one!!)
- March 28, 2019: Respect Your Cat Day. (wow. Who came up with this one? If you don’t respect your cat you better respect your scratches…just say’in.)
